The London Datastore is a free and open data-sharing site for data and analysis from the Greater London Authority. The site provides over 700 datasets to help you understand the city. Data is available at regional and local levels.
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)
The MHCLG publishes a large amount of data linked to their priorities. These include deprivation, housing, and local government finance.
NHS Digital is the national provider of information and data relating to health and social care. A range of data is available relating to General Practices (GPs), Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Hospital Level Mortality, Mental Health, Population Health, and NHS Outcomes.
Delivered by the Office for National Statistics, Nomis is home to the most detailed data on the national and local labour market.
Office of National Statistics (ONS)
The ONS is the UK’s largest independent producer of official statistics. They collect and publish statistics on the economy and population. Data is available at national, regional and local levels.
The Police publish data about crime and policing in the UK on this site. Street-level crime, outcome, and stop and search data is available on the site. Detailed crime data, and information about individual police forces and neighbourhood teams, are also available.
Public Health Outcomes Framework
The Public Health Outcomes Framework has a wide range of health data available. Data is available as overarching indicators, wider determinants of health, health improvement, health protection, and healthcare and premature mortality. It is useful for viewing trends across time, and examining differences between areas.
Trust for London Poverty Profile
Trust for London have brought together data across 100 indicators to create their Poverty Profile. The report identifies poverty and inequality across the capital. Trust for London also have analysis showing how different populations of people are affected, and how individual boroughs are performing in key areas.
